AI use cases — Viticulture

Vineyards are the part of the wine value chain with the largest installed base of artificial-intelligence-driven tooling today. Satellite and drone-imagery platforms sell vigour and stress maps to growers at block resolution; disease-detection services flag downy and powdery mildew from canopy photography; precision-viticulture vendors bundle sensors, weather-station data, and predictive models into recommendations a vineyard manager can act on the same morning. Adoption is uneven — concentrated in larger estates and in regions with active extension services — but the category is no longer hypothetical.

This page will document those deployments as they are catalogued: vendors and operators where disclosure is possible, the underlying models where they are described, and honest notes on what works and what is still being oversold.

Detailed entries are coming soon.
